Solina Beach and Nature Resort is the first and only high-end beachfront accommodation in Carles, Iloilo – the gateway to the pristine tourism destination, Islas de Gigantes. Solina Beach and Nature Resort offers nothing but pure escape to those who wants solitude with modern, high-end and fun-filled glamping experience.

Lush open green space, high-end rooms and cabins, luxurious land and beach amenities, an al-fresco dining that offers the best of Ilonggo cuisine and best of all a tender service of the locals offered to all guests – these are some of the phrases you will utter when you experience the Solina Beach and Nature Resort care.

Solina Beach and Nature Resort will surely be your accommodation choice when you see the complex lined up with eco-sustainable cabins. It is minutes away from the jump off to the Islas de Gigantes.
Kamalig – Cabin Tents Upon arrival in Solina Beach and Nature Resort, a well-lit surrounding welcomed us together with the smile of its front desk ladies. We were ushered to our room with the resort’s golf cart used to transport guest in all area inside the 7.8 hectares resort. While riding the golf cart, I could feel the heat of the summer and salty breeze of the sea – it’s like an appetizer to what the resort and Carles really offers… wink!

In less than five minutes, or much faster, we reached our Kamalig or Cabin Tent which do not look like a tent when you first see it. When you enter the all glass door of the tent, you will think that you are in a hotel here in Manila.

The Cabin Tent is equipped with a widow-type aircon, a bathroom with complimentary toiletries, cable TV, a comfy bed and a bar where you have a complimentary tea and coffee.  The Solina Beach and Nature Resort experience is really the ultimate glamping experience. The owners who envisioned this resort set the standard so high for glamping and it is the first and only in  Carles.    Pool and the Resort Amenities

The pool is a classy spot in the resort. It gives you an infinity effect with its proximity to the beach. I like how they framed the aesthetics of the swimming pool with the presence of the relaxing century old trees. It gives you a relaxing effect when you sunbathe under the tree making the sun shy to make you tan 😊 That would work for some of course.    The resort is an experience. You can stay at Solina Beach and Nature Resort for 2 to 3 nights and just be there to relax and enjoy the inhouse facility.

Aside from the pool and the beach where you can relax, each Kamalig has a hammock under the share of the hundes trees of the resort.     They have bikes and dirt bikes (good for beach) free of use to all the guest. Name all the beach activities and they have it all there.

To complete the glamping experience Solina Beach and Nature Resort conducts bonfire activities away from the beach every Saturday. Note that it is important to do the bonfire away from the shore so that burned materials won’t go to the ocean.
Angga Restaurant  Solina Beach and Nature Resort has a full service restaurant that offers world class Ilonggo cuisine in its al fresco dining. Angga Restaurant has a nice view the pool the beach and the cabins. Sea breeze freely flow in the restaurant givin you a full beachfront breakfast. lunch and dinner experience.

Each guest will enjoy the panoramic view of the beach while having a sumptuous Filipino breakfast. I enjoyed our breakfast before heading out to our Islas de Gigantes tour. After all I need all the energy for the all day tour.
